The Saikoom Family | 3BP by Amanda Peters, Devils Lake Wisconsin State Park

It is mind boggling how much one little babe can grow in what seems to be such little time. I had the pleasure of capturing this little girl when she was just a few days young and now again at 6 months! Talk about a roley-poley little chica and cheeks you just cant get enough of. Kate and Jason have created a beautiful family together, even their little pup Maui is quite the sight- she adores having her photo taken too!!

We spent the morning at Devils Lake State Park, where the family frequents regularly-- I love that they picked a place they were comfy at. It was a gorgeous day and we couldn't have asked for better scenery- even as the place was packed!

One of my favorite parts of this session however was capturing Mom and Dad as Husband and Wife. It is so important, and easy to forget, that the love between the family started with the love between these two. Joanna is going to grow up with love all around her-- not only the love for her, but the love between her mom and dad is equally important.

I had such a blast this day. It was gorgeous, to say the very least, and I was in my hometown- Madison. Life doesn't get much better than this. I met this amazing family down at the docks and we were able to just frolic and play with this little man on the move. The union is full of gorgeous scenery, people watching, and the classic summer day experience. Afterwards we just had to stop for some cheesy bread from Stellas at the farmers market on the square- Like I said, The. Perfect. Day.

Isaac | 9 months, Watertown, WI

Another babe I held just hours young and I have had the extreme pleasure of capturing his smile from the get go. 9 months here and this little beau is more handsome with every photo. Mommy and son sessions are one of my favorite times: Mommy is beyond beautiful and glows with pride as her son continues to grow and learn. I am so thankful to be a part of this time, and watch this little man go from newborn, to baby, to toddler. OH MY!

Savannah | First Communion, Sun Prairie, WI

I had the pleasure of capturing these photos of Miss Savannah just before her First Communion. What a pleasure!! The amount of work that she has put in, dedication, and emotional strength this lady has put forth is incredible and inspiring. I first held Savannah just hours young and to see her now is tear jerking- I am baffled at how quickly time has gone. If I feel this way, you can only imagine how her Mommy is doing!! Proud and supportive- Mom and Dad have a gorgeous daughter and a beautiful family.

Meet Joanna | 3Buttons Photography, Baraboo WI

I waited very patiently for this doll to arrive. When I met her mom and dad in January I just knew how beautiful and full of spunk she would be. I was right!  I could have staid all day to snuggle with that precious little newborn. Makes me more and more anxious for my own little peanut to arrive shortly.

Two amazing parents Katie and Jason- a world of new joy and change and they seemed calm, collected and well rested! I was welcomed into their home to take over their floor space and photograph them as they live their normal every day life with the little miss.

Ive said it before, I will say it again- I absolutely LOVE what I do. The people I meet. And the moments I get to capture. Life is grand, and to be able to spread that vision with others is such a thrill.

Thank you Katie and Jason- Thank you for bringing such a beautiful little girl into this world, and Thank you for allowing me to capture these memories for you.
